            22nd – Lakes’ clean up. 9A to Noon. Meet at the Wildlife refuge at south end of Silver Lake bridge. Gloves and rakes are useful if you have them. If you have a kayak, canoe, rowboat, that you can use, it is a great way to get debris from the shoreline that can’t be reached on foot.

16th - Deadline for Conservation Award applications. Criteria and applications may be found under “Conservation Award” tab.

            3rd - University of Delaware’s Coast Day -11am until 5:00pm –

 Volunteers needed for 2 hour shifts. email sola3@aol.com

-          Tour research ships

-          See what’s being done to ensure that our costal and marine resources remain healthy and available for future generations

-          Take a look at Dogfish sharks and other marine life and find out how they live

-          Compete for prizes and enjoy fresh seafood and other culinary delights
